Payments and Fa-med
We prefer to spend our time taking care of you and your teeth. That is why we have outsourced our billing to Fa-med. This is a company specialized in invoicing and collecting payments, that works with thousands of healthcare providers such as dentists, orthodontists, general practitioners, physiotherapists, psychiatrists and veterinarians.
What does this mean for you?
Preferably, you will receive your invoice by e-mail. If this is not possible, you will receive the invoice from Fa-med by mail. In some cases, the invoice will first be submitted to your health insurer. You will then only receive an invoice for the expenses which are not reimbursed by your health insurer.
Do you prefer to pay directly after your treatment? You can pay easily and safely with PIN at our practice. The payment terms are the standard terms of KNMT.
Choose for digital invoicing to help protect the environment
If you choose digital invoicing, you will find an overview of all your invoices and your personal details on www.notavanfamed.nl. Here you can also directly submit your invoice to your health insurer. If you register for FiNBOX (a joint initiative of the Dutch banks ABN AMRO, ING and Rabobank), Fa-med will automatically make sure the payment order is ready for you in your online banking environment. The only thing you have to do is to accept the payment.
Pay on time
Do not forget to pay your invoice on time. This will save you money and frustration. Fa-med offers a 30 day payment term from the invoice date. If you are unable to fulfill your payment obligations, please contact Fa-med as soon as possible. Their contact information is provided below.
